Each Sunday morning, Paul Michels invites you to start your day with an hour of the world’s greatest songs of faith and inspiration. You’ll hear the most popular Sunday morning hymns performed by a variety of artists – plus some of America’s greatest Southern Gospel songs. Paul has been hosting this hour every Sunday for more than 20 years, personally choosing the music and typically including background trivia about the songs, the singers, the songwriters, and how they were inspired to write their most popular hymns.
Meet Paul Michels
Paul began his career with radio stations in his native California and Reno, Nevada. His service in the U.S. Army brought him to North Carolina in the mid-60s. By the time he joined Curtis Media Group in 2001, he had almost four decades of radio experience in roles ranging from on-air personality to program director to station and operations management. At Curtis Media Group, Paul is responsible for IT operations including computers, the corporate e-mail system, phones, networking infrastructure, internet, and cyber security. Paul holds an FCC General Radiotelephone license and various engineering and IT certifications. Paul and his wife Judy live near Wilson.
