Lidia Thorpe was escorted out of a parliamentary reception for the royal couple Monday after shouting that British colonizers have taken Indigenous land and bones. She got a big assist Sunday from music legend Stevie Wonder, who rallied worshippers in Jonesboro, Georgia, with a rendition of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song.” Harris’ stops at the churches were part of a nationwide push known as “souls to the polls.” It’s a mobilization effort to encourage early voting in political battleground states. Palestinian officials say 87 dead or missing after Israeli strikes on northern Gaza

DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — Gaza’s Health Ministry says 87 people are dead or missing after Israeli strikes on multiple homes in northern Gaza. It says another 40 people were wounded in the strikes on the town of Beit Lahiya overnight and into Sunday. Beit Lahiya, on the northern edge of Gaza, was among the first targets of Israel’s ground invasion nearly a year ago. WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States is investigating an unauthorized release of classified documents that assess Israel’s plans to attack Iran and note that Israel continues to move military assets in place to conduct a military strike in response to Iran’s blistering ballistic missile attack on Oct. 1. Three U.S. officials told The Associated Press an investigation is ongoing, and it is still known if the documents were leaked or hacked. A fourth U.S. official said the documents appear to be legitimate. The Israeli military did not immediately respond to a request for comment over the leak of the two documents that first appeared online Friday on the messaging app Telegram. Polish zoo celebrates the birth of 4 Sumatran tigers, a critically endangered species

WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Their birth was a guarded secret at first due to fears they may not survive. But now a Polish zoo is celebrating the arrival of four Sumatran tigers cubs, weeks after they were born. Sumatran tigers are critically endangered and their numbers have dwindled to around 400 in the wild. Officials at the Wrocław Zoo in the southwestern Polish city of Wroclaw said the cubs were born on July 22, but the zoo chose not to go public with the news until they could grow a bit, gain some strength and be vaccinated.
